Azimut Design was born from an authentic Italian manufacturing tradition, where craftsmanship, technological innovation, and deep material knowledge have come together for over two decades in pursuit of excellence. The goal is to create bespoke spaces and furnishings that reflect the needs and desires of each client. Vitreous resin is the expressive language chosen by founders Annalisa Lago and Francesco Benedini to interpret the emotional habitat. Their creations are distinguished by three-dimensionality and transparency, offering a unique sensory experience — one in which the relationship with material becomes unexpected and transformative.

Azimut Design’s headquarters, located in San Giovanni Lupatoto, just outside Verona, is a dynamic creative laboratory — a true “salon of elements,” where precious metals, rare woods, textiles, and fibers from around the world are fused with resin to create distinctive, character-rich works. Azimut Design has become an international reference point for resin research thanks to its ongoing experimentation with chemical compositions and processing techniques. The production process is meticulous and requires great precision: materials are immersed in transparent resin and, after a long polymerization cycle, are polished and finished to enhance their quality and aesthetic impact.

Sustainability is a core value. Azimut Design uses only PEFC- and FSC-certified wood, ensuring provenance from responsibly managed forests. Recycling is another pillar of the company’s philosophy: vitreous resin becomes a true “time capsule,” preserving and enhancing the materials it encases, giving them new and enduring life.

While artisanal excellence has solidified Azimut Design’s role in interior furnishing, it is their innovative approach to materials that has led to their international success. Today, the company is a production partner for numerous high-end furnishing projects with some of the world’s most renowned luxury and fashion houses — including Bottega Veneta, Galeries Lafayette, Ferragamo, Max Mara, Nike — and collaborates actively with both Italian and international designers.

The Verona-based company has recently inaugurated its own showroom in the vibrant Tortona district of Milan, at Via Voghera 14. This space was conceived as an immersive experience, where architects, designers, and interior enthusiasts can explore firsthand the exceptional quality and versatility of vitreous resin — as applied to one-of-a-kind, fully customizable creations.
